Perpetual Licensing Changes

reliantdesignsolutions Annoucement

The changes Autodesk is making

Autodesk is gradually moving toward Desktop Subscription and for many individual desktop software products, Autodesk will end the sale of new perpetual licenses before January 31, 2016.

For customer who has perpetual license :

– will be able to continue to use that license.
– Customers who have a perpetual license with Maintenance Subscription will receive software updates and corresponding benefits for as long as the subscription remains active.

For customer who want to purchase after end of the sale of new perpetual licenses:

Desktop Subscription is available as monthly, quarterly, one, two and three-year plans.  Autodesk will continue to innovate and improve Desktop Subscription products so they more tightly integrate with Autodesk cloud services, and reduce file compatibility issues.
